Otter’s Bend Lodge is a unique, boutique travellers’ accommodation and campsites, embraced by nature on the banks of the Franschhoek River.
We are a unique, boutique travellers’ farmstay, situated on the banks of the Franschhoek River in the heart of the famous Cape Winelands. We are known for our relaxed farm atmosphere embraced by nature, with the sounds of birds, frogs and the trickling of the river going by.
Surrounded by magnificent mountains and famous wine farms, we are within walking distance of Franschhoek Village — the gourmet capital of South Africa. We provide the perfect base from which to explore – whether it is hiking, biking, horse riding, or savouring and indulging in what the wine estates, restaurants and shops have to offer.

PROJECTS AND VOLUNTEERING
Otter’s Bend Lodge supports the Cape Winelands Biosphere Reserve in its endeavors to preserve the Biodiversity of the area and encourage awareness of how man and nature can live in harmony. This includes projects to enhance the education of local children and upgrade the environments of certain communities.
